Opening Scene: Darkened Hotel Room

This post doesn't have any pictures because we are on the road, and I don't have any pictures to post. We are in Wysox, Pennsylvania, and we just got back to our hotel room after attending the wedding and reception for my cousin Kim, and her husband Brian. Kim is my Aunt Edna's daughter. We only met Kim for the first time last summer while we all happened to be visiting Dubois at the same time.

So... this is going to be a blog dedicated to Cate. I found that she was dominating the Penman-Ozer Daily, and it seemed a little unfair to the rest of the Penman-Ozer clan. Of course, now that I think about it, this might actually be worse. Cate has her own blog??? At least this way people that only like to look at baby pictures will have a place to go, and people that don't like to look at baby pictures can now go to www.p-o.blogspot.com and not worry about being inundated with baby pictures. I am all about pleasing people.

Most of my family was at the wedding and/or reception. A very few first cousins were missing. Larry Plummer, Kathy Plummer, Rich Plummer, Bill Hanley, Butch Hanley, Missy and Deneane (I have NO idea where they are). Maggie, my mother and I represented the Penmans side. Andrea is in town now, but didn't make it to the wedding or reception, though is will be at the reunion tomorrow. It would be a lot harder to name all the first cousins that WERE there, because I don't really know all of them. But let's just say that there were a lot. Maybe I'll try to get a sign in list tomorrow. I should bring this to the party and type as I catch all the names. It'll be fun, especially since it will probably be raining the whole time we are there. It rained throughout the wedding and reception. But that just made it all the more intimate.

It's a lot of fun seeing all my littles cousins as grownups now. It's also great seeing all the little kids running around. I really love it, even though it reinforces how dang old I am.

Okay... This is a blog about Cate, and I have not mentioned her once! She was wonderful. And guess what! She pooped TWICE today! That's the first time since she stopped poopin' merconium! She usually poops every other day (saves on diapers - she is a good kid). She is sound asleep now, and won't wake up until around 7am tomorrow. It was a very long day for her, but she did great, and everyone loved her. She hardly napped at all today, but kept smiling 'til the end (interspersed with some crying to let us know she was hungry).

We did take a few pictures, but I'll post them in the Penman-Ozer Daily blog later with the rest of the pictures we take at the reunion.

Ciao for now!!!
